See a copy of Amazon's listed specifications with the Band Width circled in red. I have no idea whether the "18 mm" spec was data provided to Amazon by Timex, or whether whoever prepared the Amazon webpage made a typo. But the actual watch physical dimension to attach a band to this watch measures "16 mm". I had to file off 1 mm of metal from each of the 4 mounting edges of my metal watch band to enable my 18 mm band to fit onto the 16 mm watch. Now maybe Timex (or Amazon) will say 18 mm is the actual width of the cloth as it goes around one's wrist. But then Timex (and Amazon) should, at a minimum, offer the purchaser an accurate measure of the mate dimension (in the case of this watch: 16 mm) for the purchaser to be able upgrade the factory strap with a separate watch band of the purchaser's choosing. The specs you write have consequences, fellas. Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2018 Color: Blue/Black Verified Purchase I read reviews before purchasing, and noticed many reviewers commented on the small size of the watch.
